Acrylink PEG TFP
Acrylink PEG TFP is a premium crosslinker for Expansion Microscopy, combining the enhanced solubility of a PEG backbone with the improved stability and reactivity of a TFP ester. Like its NHS-based counterparts, Acrylink PEG TFP features a polymerizable acrylate group that ensures biomolecules are securely anchored into the hydrogel network. However, the use of a tetrafluorophenyl (TFP) ester provides superior resistance to hydrolysis and higher reactivity toward primary amines, resulting in more efficient and reproducible labeling.
The PEG spacer further enhances performance by increasing aqueous solubility and diffusion, making Acrylink PEG TFP ideal for use in dense tissues, thick sections, or complex biological samples. This unique combination ensures uniform penetration, strong retention, and brighter, more stable signals after gelation, digestion, and expansion.
